SPARKLE by KAREN CHAN collaborates with HK Museum of History to create this《Beautiful Hong Kong - Yau Tsim Mong》Collection. This collection is inspired by HK Museum of History’s “Yau Tsim Mong – The Urban Transition and Community Bonds” Exhibition. Three districts in Kowloon – Yau Ma Tei, Tsim Sha Tsui and Mongkok, are collectively known as “Yau Tsim Mong”.

This collection captures the vibrant streetscape and cultural traces of Yau Tsim Mong through rich colors, weaving together narratives of Hong Kong’s local livelihood and culture, reflecting a harmonious blend of the old and new, showcasing the vitality and warmth that define this extraordinary city.

Located in the heart of the Kowloon Peninsula, Yau Tsim Mong bears witness to a century of Hong Kong's development. Derived from “Looking onto Yau and Tsim”, "Yau Tsim Mong" districts narrate the unique rhythm of Hong Kong’s living stories, showcasing classic scenes from cinematic history—from the Yau Ma Tei Fruit Wholesale Market in Yau Mai Tei, bustling Goldfish Street and Bird Street in Mongkok, pawnshops on Shanghai Street reminiscent of old Hong Kong, to the busy ferries cruising on the Victoria Harbour next to the Tsim Sha Tsui clock tower.
