Lui Shou-kwan completed his iconic Zen painting series through continuous re-examination of the relationship between himself and art, Eastern and Western art, and Buddhism and Taoism. The Zen paintings reflect his inner spiritual world where peace and serenity coexist with rhythm and movement.
