HK MUSEUM OF HISTORY

The story of a city never truly belongs to the past; it is constantly recorded, revisited, and reimagined. The Hong Kong Museum of History stands as a vessel for these memories, preserving the tracks of time layer by layer. Inspired by this sanctuary of heritage, this design employs a geometric collage of electric blue, vibrant fuchsia, and deep purple, transforming the museum's stately architecture into a rhythmic visual structure.
.
Intentionally breaking away from a single perspective, this design deconstructs and rearranges the museum's form. Mirroring the very act of leafing through history, different eras and fragments interlace, creating a fluid, multi-layered visual language. The high-contrast color palette channels the bold visual tension of the 1980s, expanding and overlapping across the canvas to piece together a story uniquely Hong Kong's own.
