HK OBSERVATORY
Long before the wind arrives, the city already senses its approach—as the sky subtly shifts, the air begins to stir, and signals silently rise. What the HK Observatory issues is far more than a forecast; it is a prelude to what is about to unfold. Inspired by this sentinel of the skies, this design uses a striking fuchsia backdrop to set an intense visual tone, while the silhouette of the building is reconstructed in a geometric collage of radiant yellow, vibrant orange, and electric green.

Woven throughout the composition are various typhoon signal symbols, splashed across the fabric like delicate punctuation marks. This unique "signal language" of Hong Kong overlaps and intertwines with the architecture of the HK Observatory, carrying our collective consciousness of the weather and of life itself. Though no actual wind is depicted, the fabric is alive with the "whispers of its passing".
